About

The Lakeland Children's Center, a licensed not for profit organization, is committed to the support of working families and fostering children's positive development in a warm, safe, caring, home-like environment. We strive to create an enriching environment which is non-stressful and flexible to the needs of the children and parents alike.  Under the supervision of our trained professional staff, children develop emotionally, academically and socially.

The Center was designed with kids in mind….

The Lakeland Children’s Center has a broad range of activities that allows children to choose how they spend their time while at the Center. They can make new friends, learn a new skill, play outdoors or inside, do homework, use the computer or learn a craft. Children may also choose to attend to their homework or read independently.

Our creative program is registered with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Nutritious snacks are served. LCC follows the Lakeland Central School District calendar and is open to serve you and your family when school closes early for scheduled half days.

Our facilities are designed for fun, creativity and exercise. The Center serves those children in the Lakeland Central School District. We serve Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Lincoln-Titus, Thomas Jefferson and Van Cortlandtville as well as Copper Beech Middle School for our Breakfast Program and Teen After School Program.
